What is the best Filter Media for my canister filter????? I am looking for something a little better then what i got if possible. From top to bottom it goes
Amino chips
Filterfloss
Activated Carbon
Filterfloss
Lava rocks

Thats it and i was wondering if i could replace any or all of these to get better Benificial bacteria and filtration
 
Remove the zeolite as it deprives the Bb of ammonia. Remove the activated carbon as most of the time we forget to change it and it does more harm than good in the end. Replace them with Ehiem substrat pro and Biohome.
 
YES I agree eheim pro works great. I use that with fluval biomax in my magnum 350, and my 2 eheim ecco filters
