Now that i have my 125 gal Frontosa tank all set up i would like to know what kind and what type cat fish would be suitable to live with Frontosa's.. i know it would have to be a cat slow moving, non aggressive and also share some of the same diet qualities.. what would really be nice if someone could suggest a black and white showy type cat who would also add some glamour to the tank and look great on the white sand..thanks looking forward to some help..

Yup, I agree on the synos. There are a variaty of species and they are native to the rift lakes in Africa.

I used to Keep Frontosa for many many years and i found the best to be housed with fronts are syno petricola dwarfs, as they do not need a host to spawn and will not try and rob your fronts of there eggs. :D

you can see one in the bottom of the pic

I will look this guy's profile up..thanks for the tip ..especially important that it won't eat the fronts eggs..something i did not think about until now.. what beautiful fronts you had..and great pictures of them..if you don't mind me asking why NO More?? thanks

Moba's were the last to keep. i have kept Mpimbwe, Burundi, kapampa and Moba and there all the same.

i love them but needed change..

i will start a thread on the photo section with a ton of pics so feel free to comment there.

called before there were rays!

Just about any of the Synodontis cats can be housed with your fronts.

I have quite a few different types of Syn. Cats..some seem too wild to be in with the fronts who are so slow and shy.. one especailly that i have would give them no peace..he is up and down and constantly moving.. then i have some that are big eaters.. they are aggressive eaters infact.. definitly do not think these guys would go well in with the laid back Fronts.. the cats would eat everything meant for the Fronts.. but i am sure there are some quiet laid back Syn. Cats .. i just don't have ones like that haha
