Best Chicago Fish Stores

Going to be in Chicago for a few days in a couple of weeks. Going to Shedd Aquarium.

What are the best fish stores, dont want to waste a bunch of time going to bad ones.

Old town aquarium is nice I heard golden aquarium is nice, I'm checking them out tomorrow on my way home from work. In the south suburbs animal control island in Midlothian is kind of a dump but has awesome freshwater (about 1.5 miles off of 294, worth hitiing on the way in or out if your coming that way) and aquatica has great saltwater including a large sharke pond plus a small but nice freshwater section.

I'll second what he said about old town aquariums when I went to chicago for the stingray symposium I visited it and it was pretty nice.

Out of the four I listed I'd rank golden aquarium fourth. Fish looked nice but wasn't overly impressed as a whole, basically if they are the only ones who had something wanted I have no reservations on going there but wouldn't drop in unless super convenient.
