Best Choice Filter

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
looks like a cheap Ehime cross with a marineland c360 or whatever its called....

Suggest saving your pennies a touch longer and getting something you honestly know to be good..
A Rena XP3/4
A Fluval 304/5 - 404/5
A Ehime 2xxx

Priming system and coloration/hardware makes me think ehiem. But something about it seems fishy, no pun intended. Sounds like a great price for a filter that looks like it would blow mine away -

thanks taylor d. im a huge fan of the rena's. i have 2 xp4's on my 120 stocked with 8" carpintes, 4-6" jacks x's 4 and 3 synodontis cats and i couldnt ask for better filters. just wondering if it maybe a diamond in the rough kind of deal

thats sort of what i was thinking. i mean, 5 baskets plus a 520gph flowrate? for $85? i wish someone on here had experience with them

very likely ... If you DO go abouts getting one.. keep me in mind. I am in the same boat as you.. I love my Xp's ... I only have the one XP3 now.. however here shortly will be getting my 2nd.. I couldnt ask for better.

....however, the fact it comes with a basket.. lol kind'a scares me

If you fill all 5 baskets, you will not even come close to 520gph. I don't see the point in that many baskets.

Get a Eheim. Can't go wrong with them.

too much money for eheims! also, when they rate a filters flowrate is it with the filter empty?
