Best Cichla with rays

as above, which are the best Cichla for Rays?

I've looked at kelberi as they appear to grow to a smaller size?

Also which are the most colourful?

Tanks is a 7.5x3x2.5, so will still be plenty of space

The most colorful? Well, they are all pretty colorful. For me Kelberi are by far the most beautiful, because I like their yellow/golden colour.

I have heard of quite a bit ppl now that their Monos started to attack their rays. Especially when they get mature and maybe want to lay eggs. Never heard that of Kelberi.

Any first hand experience of max size of kelberi? Don't really want to get a fish that'll outgrow the tank
