do pbass count?
a breeding pair of some rair pbass or discus.( i assume we are talking sa/ca) a dovii or blue monster(i dunno what the real name is, thats all i hear them called, like a dovii with dempsey colors) would be sweet too.
dempseys. both the males and females look amazing, not too big so you wouldnt need a monster tank, but badass enough to be housed w/ monsters.. win win win lol
i based my vote on the pbass's colors(sexy monster), personality(monster), size(monster), and habits(proud monster). and the discus or angelfish are just beautifull and can be kept with the more serene tanks.
Wow, too many wishy washy answers, its a simple question.
The answer is very simple and obvious although many fish snobs will turn up heir noses, but the all time greatest most versatile and appealing cichlid in the history of fishkeeping is the Oscar.
Geos have a beautiful, understated elegance and grace to them - I love big tanks of just a school of them. Their sifting is also just fun/neat to watch, haha.
