Just curious to see what everyone else thinks. Currently have 6 bass in a 130g grow out and as we all know they are very messy eaters. I have a Raphael catfish in there and it does pick up some of the leftover food but I would like more of it picked up.

So basically I'm looking to see what other cats will work in this scenario?

Cliff notes:
Bottom feeder
Won't outgrow/ eat my bass (largest is 7-8") currently
Cool / odd looking (not necessary)

Giraffe catfish. Great for clean up get large and will not eat your bass. They are like part vacuum part catfish. They are also very interactive when they get bigger. Mine cleans the whole tank bottom several time a day.

+1 and they're fun, active and peaceful.

i had this issue with my oscars always fart loads of left overs all over my tank, is what i did is feed em smaller food so it leave less mess coming out the gills and mouth when chewing it up... i feed them 4.5mm pellets when im theory they shoul dbe eating like 7.5mm or so... ye syou have to give more food in there but they eat every last bit, maybe try feeding smaller sized food and se eif that helps ?

All good ideas! Will try feeding smaller pieces! Also do plan on adding an ornate Bircher along with my poly Senegal. And seeing if my lfs can get a giraffe nose in
