i hav decided to give up on dyi co2 because, however a good job i do at sealing the cap of the bottle it always leaks out leaving the room with a sulfuric smell :irked:. now i've decided to invest in a manufactured reactor and wanted to know which one would work best for an aquarium of 65g.

In recent weeks, I have had three different customers have problems with their milwaukee regulators. One had a leak (customer error), one had broken guages and the other had a piece of the regulator blow off, sending a bb sized piece of metal at a high rate of speed through his PC housing, shattering all 4 bulbs, ripping through the fan, and putting a hole in his wall.

My personal favorite regulator is by Blue Line.

O.o hah Evercl92, which one are you talking about. I thought reactor was the little thing that hang on back to break up co2?

to be honest in ordfer to do a really good DIY unit i would use silicon... fill the bottom of the cap with the tube in it... bada bing bada boom you got a CO2 reactor

In that case, the Rhinox diffusers work really well.

i'm not clear on terminology but a cheaper version of a red sea kit is what i need

There are three forms, DiY/reaction co2, pressurized co2, and chemical probe reaction. They get more expensive as you go, but if you don't want reaction co2, then you need to be ready to spend $200... at least.
