Mine appreciated the occassional bloodworms and finely diced fresh shrimp. Their staple food was a variety of different flakes and pellets from Hikari and Tetra. They really didn't turn down anything.
I'm not so big on anything Wardley except the shrimp pellets for my bottom feeders. Idk why but I feel like they're product is inferior. I read somewhere as well that they use a lot of "stuffers" in their foods (stuff with no benefit to the fish).
Wardley is low quality, there are better options. A few years ago i had a pleco i fed wardley algae wafers. When i ran out and switched to hikari this fish started growing, it was very noticeable.
