best damaged fin medicine

hey guys you know those times when you see one of your fish's fins are nipped or damaged by something.

i was wondering what is the best medicine to fix damaged fins?

im looking for

- inexpensive
- lasts you for a long time (dont need to use alot at once)
- quality effect.

Well if that happens aggression is a factor imo, bigger tank or clean water as stated above, sometimes lower temps and a varied diet helps.

For damaged fins, I like melafix. I swear by this stuff. When used for 7 days it works.
