Just wanting to know what i should be feeding my young dovii am currently feeding earthworms bugs caught around the house i use no pesticide is why i do this dont have the worry of posioning i hope and a wardeley pellet for young cichlids is this a good diet should i add something or stop feeding them one or all of these any help would be greatly appreciated thank all

should i keep feeding them the bugs that i catch or is that a bad idea in you opinion and should i use frozen peas or canned sorry for all ? but kinda new at this and realy would like a monster dovii that i can be ultra proud of.
Frozen peas are good just skin them. What size is your Dovii? What size tank are you keeping it in? Krill, Earthworms are good treats and as VRWC said NLS or Hakari Bio-Gold + pellets should be the staple of it's diet. What size is your Dovii?
they are 2 in and just starting to showing some color but i dont exactly know how to tell the male from female at that size even if you can would like to post some pics if i can get them to stay still long enough maybe then all of you can help me on which ones are males and female!!! and are currently in a 125 seeing how small they are there is 5 of them cause was hoping to get a pair and up grade tank to well over 250 withing the year so i could have some show fish that no one in my area seems to have i had to get these from jeff rapps cause no lfs had them here in central illinois
