So... the other day I learned that my friend/LFS owner is a great tank maker and he can give me a great deal on any tank he makes for me and he can make any dimension I want! I have some fish I'm growing out now, some of which will be going in the pond I'm hopefully making in the spring but the others I'd like to keep in tanks so what would some good dimensions be for these fish. Yellow Bullhead, Gibbiceps Pleco, White Sucker (C. commersonii), and if he can get me a deal on a BIG setup possibly a channel catfish. I don't want my water bill to sky rocket from water changes and the same deal for electric but I want a monster tank :). I was thinking one of these four.
1) 72"x30"x24"
2) 96"x30"x24"
3) 96"x36"x24"
4) 96"x36"x30"

Now taking into account I need a tank big enough for all these fish (plus some others I'd be getting) but don't want to spend a fortune on water and electric which size would be the best?

I'd choose option 3 personally.that would be the best one all around

Another vote for number 3

I have considered making a tank with the same dimensions as 3.

Alright, if I can get him to build me number three for a good price I'll probably go for that :)
