best fair food thread!

went to the erie country fair last night, had veggie tempura, jalapeno bombs (pic of those), and gator shishkabob. the gator was cooked great and was actual cuts not ground up meat so very tasty, if a bit chewy haha

the jalapeno bombs were the highlight, small jalapeno, stuffed w/ cheese and a small sausage (very small) and wrapped in a piece of bacon, then covered in sweet carolina bbq sauce. sooo good

Im happy with just a good ol corn dog, most fair food just wrecks my stomach, guess Im old.

Fried butter @ The State Fair of Texas last year. Definitely not a health food, but something that should be on everyones food bucket list.

Corn dog, fried veggies, fried cheese, elephant ears and fresh squeezed lemonade are all definites at a fair for me. After these items I usually squeeze it one or two other treats. Nothing baffles me more than those who eat pizza and hamburger at a fair.
