What's the best small (such as guppy size) feeder fish that is easy to breed. and grow to adult size fast.
:nilly:

Guppys, Platys, Swardtails & Mollies from smallest to largest. Any of these LB work well for this. Also a pair of convects will produce tons of fry and make great feeders too.

+1 convicts produce tons of fry. Convicts if you set-up 2-3 breeding tanks may only have to buy a couple of dollars of food a year. Because if you have a breeding pair of convicts they will produce the fry. and you can have a divided fry tank or 2 fry tanks. the first 1 will be for the small fry the 3 one will be the feeding fry (if no 3 tank other side of divided tank) and when you get the next batch of fry from the parents the system will move up. parents make fry -> fry go to 2 tank -> feeder fry go to 3 tank/ other side of divided tank -> fry get eaten.

What type of fish are you planning on feeding? Are you planning on feeding a fish as big as a green terror? or a smaller fish such as an angel fish whos mouth is smaller and what is the size of this fish?

I'm going to be using platies. My husband took over my 30 gallon tank and will be filling it with platies and tetras. He won't make a special effort to protect the babies. When they get too numerous, I'll be feeding them to my 14 inch jag hybrid. My brother might take some too. He has salt fish that sometimes like feeders. My mother thinks he and I are awful, taking pets and feeding them to big fish. I told her that no one feeds pellets or flake food along the Amazon or the lakes. What did she think big fish ate in natural habitat? She was not amused...
