Best feeder shrimp or fish to breed

What is the best sp. of shrimp to breed?
or is it just easier to breed convicts, i have a 20 gallon but am trying to fit a 55 some were
all tips are appreciated!!!

I have never messed with shrimp but convicts seem to breed very easily. LOL

I wonder how hard it would be to breed convicts and feed them to my red bellys. Thoughts?

Not very hard at all. I think I have a couple hundred fry right now.

i figured convicts is the easiest to breed for feeding purpose, since they should go quick

on a shrimp level, i would say cherry red.
With a 20g you could have yourself a substantial sized colony.

I vote for livebearers. They breed furiously, you just need to get through with cannibalism. I have a pond where i bred livebearers as feeders. I use corals as "hideout" for the fry.
