Best feeders to keep?

So I have a jardini arowana, couple bichirs, clown knife and plan on possibly getting a gar.
Nothing is final in regards to stock so spare me the critique on the stock.

I am already "growing" black worms to feed as treats but I want to try feeders as well. I have a spare cycled 29g I would like to set up as maybe a breeder tank for feeders.

I know everything says convicts breed like crazy but just wondering if that would be my best option. Thanks.

I'd use convicts. Or any of the other small CA cichlid species. much safer than anything labeled as feeder from lfs

Yeah, I wouldnt buy a "feeder". Just some fish that could breed for feeders.

I used guppies for my feeder tank. Bred fast and were colorful enough for the wife and godson to look at in the tank.
