Best feeds for Paratheraps / Vieja species tank.

Was wondering what would be a good staple feed for Central American tank. As of now feeding NLS Thera A, Hikari bio gold + and Hikari Cichlid excel as staple. Once a week Hikari carnivore pellets for the Freddy and frozen brine shrimp.

While I do so good colors on the Viejas but the Freddy is lacking the yellow on it. Would it be OK to add more carnivorous foods to the mix ?

that will be okey, i my self use 3 different hikari pellets(once to twice a day) and i feed twice a week frozen brime shrimp and a frozen cichlid mix. Works great for me..
