Best filter combo for a 40 gal

I'm getting a 40 gal breeder for my bday should I get a sponge filter rated for 80 gallons and put a 10 gallon HOB filter too or get a HOB filter rated for 45 gallons

I would go with an ac110, but that is just me. I had one on my 29 lol.

Those r way out of my budget lol altogether with the sponge and I'm gonna use my 30 gal filter it would be 100 gallons of filtration and with the HOB it would only be 45 gallons of filtration
