I'm looking for a good filter for my 29 gallon tank. I'm really trying to find one thats the best bang for my buck. Any ideas?

What are you stocking the tank with? A AC70 would do good.

Eheim 2213 would be good. Tons of bang for the buck and great bio capability. I think the aqua clear line is getting too expensive because of their popularity (I can't believe what I had to pay for my ac 110 )

Powerhead, sponge. DONE.
And where exactly does the bio media get stored when he has to eventually change that sponge? Do not get me wrong power head filters have their place but not as a sole filter IMO. Bang for the buck yeah I guess you got me there but still... Not a great filter on its own and for around the same price you could get a smaller aqua clear that will hold bio media.

Go for it. They are great filters. I love my ac 110

ideally fluval fx5...
That or the biggest aqua clear you can fit on there.. or two.
I have two Ac200 (old AC 50 I think) on my 20 gallon. Works like a charm.
