I've got a 60g right now, but I am in process of purchasing a 300g. What is the best filter setup for this type of tank?

IF u dont have alot of other fish then u can do a canister/bio wheel combo and that works good for me

I would not get any rays till you get the 300gallon and with that tank I would do a large wetdry

Wet/dry. Excellent Oxygen transfer and biological capacity is a must for rays.

which specific filter and setup do you recommend? can you message me or post a link to one that is top notch?

thanks

just search the DIY or setup and filtration forums all ya need is a prefilter sponge and drip plate followd by bioballs and maybe some nylon scrubbies.... also throw some bags of submerged media in the water before the pump gives ya some extra bio in wasted space....
