personaully if i had the money to choice any kind of filter i wanted for a large ray tank like that. I would go with a bead filter simple, easy to clean and about as efficent as it gets. If i was on a modest budjet. And if it is up of the ground on a stand i would pick up a 120 4x2x2 and build a simple sump. not a wet dry but a sump, with a couple filter socks under the sump intakes. a large middle section full of bio max or equivalant ceramic media, couple sponges before the media department. And then the next small section with the return pump, with inlinve u.v and inline heaters. And consider if filtered to the max. If it was a pound style on the ground set up. Build a over head filtration the same for the most part. Or last but not least. hitch up a hole line of the ocean clear or Lifegard Aquatics inline bio and mechanical filters, Havent tried those yet allways stare at them but go a different route.
