Best fish to company my arowana

I have a 6inch arowana and I've bin thinking wot would be best to company him as I'm not sure got a 4ft tank so far be moving him to a 6ft in few month.

A Flagtail Prochilodus will get to around 30-35cm ... they are very neat fish man.

plus flagtails can handle beatings from aros and they are really good cleaners

Arowanas really shouldnt have ANY tankmates until they get to about 10 inches.

Why is that? I thought when they get bigger, they get aggressive.

They are very fragile at this size and are best kept alone for safety reasons.
