Best Floating Plant for PBass????

hey all need your opinions on what is the best floating plant ot use in my 300 Gallon for PBass as ive noticed that quite a few of you have been using different plants

how do you guys keep these plants clean and free of algea?? Just by removing them weekly and giving them a good rinse and light scrub??

Personally I'm not a fan of floating plants. I feed a lot of floating pellets and find the food get's lost in the plants which is not good for my water at all.
