I've recently purchased 2 3 inch arowana's and am just wondering what's the best thing to feed them because i've read a lot of conflicting reports on the web?
I'm currently feeding them wax worms and mealworms but i've read wax worms aren't great because they are like sweets to arowana's and mealworms aren't great because of the shell - plus they make a bit of a mess in the tank.
I've tried earthworms but they don't seem to go for them and they just sink to the bottom - i've also read these aren't great because of where they might have come from. I'm buying these from my local baitshop.
I'm going to the LFS after work today to look at getting some pellets/sticks and see if they eat those.
I would really appreciate any advice on what would be the best for them.
