Best food for Jardini?

Curious as to if there is a certain food I can feed that will REALLY make my Jar grow? He is a piggy now and doesnt care to much for the taste of other fish so I feed Nite Crawlers, Meal Worms, Crickets, Krill, Plankton, BeefHeart, Blood Worms and gonna start Aro stix here soon. Also, what bout coloration? He is turning very Gold and he is getting spots on his tail... anything to enhance color?
 
keep feeding what you are and add market shrimp to the mix.
 
So then I can plop in sum Raw Shrimp and he will feast? Cut off the tail I am sure ;) I never really fed shrimp b4. I will try to post sum pics for you guys..... my Cam is a Piece tho, so may not look all that Great

live food

fish (not goldfish), frogs, crayfish, pinkie mice, etc.
 
I think mines a lil to small to eat that stuff yet. unless I can find baby Froggies ;)
 
I fused to feed the jar I had shrimp and live crayfish. He had the mold gold color than any jar I have seen, and the shine. You would almost need sunglasses to look at him.:D
Also had alot of red on him.
