Best food for midas?

I give my 6" male hikari gold and one algae wafer once a day. Should I change foods to darken his colors?

your giving him good food already so i dont think changing his food is going to do much. sometimes changing the substrate and decor will make them darken or lighten up. personally if you like the tank the way it is i wouldnt do anything.
