So I have a baby sen and I was wondering what's the best food to feed him I want him to have a nice girth and not too long like a snake I currently have him on NLS and tilapia any suggestions?

mix it up, NLS, talapia, shrimp, whitefish, stuff like that. Variety is the spice of life.
what kind of whitefish? Some white fish like pollock and pangius make a big mess with the water. Stuffing bichirs with tilapia seems to work best for me on girth. Be prepare to do more water changes if you stuff them with food.

I don't worry about messy personally, but I also do more talapia than anything.

Water changes isn't a problem, but my sen doesn't like raw foods and sticks more to NLS

you can starve your Senegal 3-5 days then convert it to tilapia. Once you get them on tilapia they buck up fast.

Yeah that's fine. Just cut it into strips and then into smaller pieces so it's not a choking hazard. That's what I do anyway and then freeze a bunch and just thaw a little every night.
