ok whats a better option, krill, blood worms, shrimp??

for small fry, the best growth ive seen is using live brine shrimp..
i havn't used krill but i think its even higher protein than shrimp..
I dont recommend bloodworms for fry, but once there a bit bigger it's fine..
The best option in my opinion is brine shrimp , as there readily available, easy to culture, You know there are no parasites etc ( unlike some bloodworms)

How big are these guys?

3 inches maybe

ok, so really these smaller foods wont be a good staple..
find a good high protein pellet..
(tests ive seen show that anything over 43% protein are the best and you get maximum growth rate )
use shrimp or bloodworms as a treat..
try to get a couple different types of pellet to vary the diet a bit..

i agree with high-protein pellets for size (sinking carnivore/massivore maybe). For color, find something high in beta-carotene.

I like NLS and I just ordered some ChingMix to try for mine.
