Best foods for pbass coloration

What are the best foods for pbass coloration. My pbass will eat most anything that hits the water and the color seems to be coming out in them great. I was just wondering, what foods are better that other for color enhancement.

What types of pbass do you have, and what do you feed them?

Normally their color will improve with age. My 10"+ pbass haven't change their color much with a different diet. When some of them were smaller, froezen krill seemed to bring out a lot of red in them.

I have some freeze dried krill will have to pick up some frozen and try it.

No, feeders don't bring out colors in pbass. I have my pbass on krill, massivore, market shrimp and tilapia.

before my mine went to my friends tank, i fed them a mix of frozen krill and silversides brought out the reds, didnt like the pellets to much however

Condition is far more importiant than food when your talking about Pbass colors. Even then the colors can change with the individual fish's mood several times a day.

freeze dried krill and you can soak in vitachem or shrimp coz their shell's contain's high level of carotene and astaxanthin that is really well known to bring the red in you PBASS but varied diet is still the best and lots of WC!!!

colour comes out of shrimps, market ar krill or even artemia, but of the shrimp family... it isn't the only way, but the best place to go get colour

I feed my Pbass a mix of freeze dried krill, New Life Spectrum,Hikari Cichlid Gold, and market shrimp.

I feel this is the way to get the best color out of my bass.
