best foods to bulk up retic

HI

my retic is very skinny. what foods can i give to her to bulk her up. shes about 4 inches in diameter right now. eats blackworms like a champ.

Earthworms. Keep feeding as many blackworms as she will take but switch over to earthworms asap. High in fat and great for growth.

chopped up nightcrawlers
Krill
chopped up market prawn
chopped up tilapia

if you have her in a holding tank by herself it would be nice and fat in no time.

Ya first and most important is keep her eating well. Just normally the next foods to work on will be night crawlers, shrimp. Keep her fat and happy

Instead of night crawlers, get some red wigglers. Same nutrition but super easy to culture...

I have heard this as well from my buddy who owns a bait shop. They may not always be called red wigglers at bait shops. They are commonly called leaf worms or trout worms. They are a smaller worm so they chop up easier for smaller rays.

bait shops around here dont carry worms this time of year. so ill have to wait until the spring for those.
