best foods to fatten up small bichers

ive been wondering the same as well cause my sen has been eating pellets but hasnt grown much over the past 6 months

I feed mine beef heart they grew from about 2.5in now it's 3 months later and they are just under 6in

The Key To Making ur bichir big fat n pretty is to give them a varied diet.. Carnivore pellets.. sutchi fillet ( but u need to clean up the oil film).. frozen blood worms.. and an occasional feeder (no goldfish)..
On top of that.. u need to give them lots of space to grow.. They are Pretty much slow growers..

Don't forget water changes, extra water changes seem to make a big difference, especially if they're in smaller growout tanks..

I would Advise not to.. as there is a tendency they might choke on it.. i had one die frm choking before..

its true..but i always cut the earth worms adjusted to the baby bichir mouth.never have problem with my baby.i feed earth worms,frozen shrimp(don't give to plat) and catfish seed..grew up more faster and gave long fin effect
