My house
I currently have four tanks that I am slowly planting. One has very high lighting, two are about medium and one is fairly low. I have been searching through different plants to use in each and thought I would see what you guys/ladies prefer.

So, what are your favorite ground covers for low light, med light, and high light?

Can you suggest a low light ground cover that stays fairly close to the substrate but is not too difficult?

Thanks for the help!

High light: Glossostigma, Hemianthus callitrichoides (dwarf baby tears)
Medium light: Marsilea minuta (stays below 1"), Pogostemon helferi, Echinodorus quadricostatus
Low light: Marsilea minuta (grows to around 1"), Flame moss, Peacock moss

To be honest almost all plants can grow at low light. They just grow slower. All higher lighting does is kick things into over drive. While this may sound attractive, it also increases the demand for C02 and fertilizers by your plants. And if you are not able to be on top of things you will run into many problems.

I personally like dwarf hairgrass cause it's about one of the easiest carpet plants you can grow.
