best hang on back filter

new to the game i have a 55 gallon tank and i have mbuna cihclids what is the best filter for me ?

You want an HOB right? I would say grab an AC110 and call it a day.

I would go with a fluval if i was u. I dunno if u are new but i started with fish around 09 and have ac and i wish i woulda got a fluval but i didnt know anything about it and the petstore guy told be they are the best. They are for hob but not the best filter by far. Oh and i do have fluval 205 now and like it more than ac but both combos at the same time are great

AC 110 all the way. Little more than most but totally worth it!

I'm surprised that most aren't recommending two AC70's over a single AC110. He would get slightly higher turnover and any filter maintenance can be staggered to avoid too much BB disturbance at one time. Thoughts on this?

I'm one to talk though.... I have a single AC50 on my 26g
