as far as filters what would you guys say is the best brand of hang on filter for an aquarium and why?

why?i like the power and the customizable media.it doesnt use cartridges.

this should probly be in setup and filtration...

but I have to say that I have used Emp 400's for a couple of years then recently switched to AquaClear 110's and I have to say that the AC's do a much better job at stopping the gunk from getting back in the tank, and I have more faith in biomax then a bio wheel...

i own two emperors and a whole line of ac's... emps are ok i guess they dont offer adjustments they do well all getting clogged up i recently aquired an aquaclear t shirt as well wooohooooo no but seriously i have the emps on my turtle tank and i let the ac's do the fish work
