best hood/cover for 40 breeder

I just got a free 40 breeder and stand today for free. It has no cover and I cant find any online for a 40 breeder w/o a brace. I want it to cover the hole top. what do you guys have on top of your 40 breeders?

Get a 36" strip light at the same website and you have yourself a full hood.

That Perfecto strip light I listed is sort of expensive at $44.99. You can probably find one cheaper at PetCo or PetSmart (gasp!).

thanks a lot I didnt even look at perfecto because its an all glass. I know sometimes the difference is only millimeters but Ive had tops not fit switching brands in the past. I think I might take the risk.

found an old in the box versa top today at work for a 40 breeder. It must be ten years old as it was marked 21.99 retail, which means i payed about 15 for it. I checked retail on one of these today which is about 51 bucks. So id say I got a great deal, just tried it and it fits perfect.

if you want a light i would do the Petsmart price match thing......just print out the price online for a 36" light and bring it in and they'll honor it........

I actually got an old 30 inch stip light laying around it will do the job, as my 36 inch strip light has the same size bulb (24")
