Best In Sump Skimmer?

Hey Everybody,

I'm going to be replacing my Aqua C Remora sKimmer due to is difficulties of cleaning, because it is hanged on the back of my sump. So like the title, what is the best in sump skimmer? If I go with the aqua C Urchin Pro it is a 1/2 inch to tall for my stand, the lfs recommends this skimmer:

MY cousin and aunt just switched to this skimmer, so what do you guys think?

Cannot go wrong with an Eshopps.

Check out Reef Octopus also. Personally I will never own anything but a Reef Octopus. They are awesome.

I'm looking at getting getting a Reef Octopus skimmer when I set up my next tank. I've only heard good things about them. Below is a link to their SRO line up. That's what i'm looking at getting.

I heard great things on the reef octopus also, however I'm probably going to go with the ehsopps because the lfs seems to know how to repair things and help in replacements if needed. Thanks for the feedback guys

Coralvue ( Reef Octopus, Diablo) is a great brand, their products work incredibly well. They actually make the only hang-on skimmer I would ever buy. BUT, if money is not an issue take a look at Bubble Kings, there are skimmers then there are SKIMMERS. However, you're looking at something around 1,400 give or take.

Reef Octopus gets my vote too. Very nice skimmers.

I like the Reef Octopus SSS models. (They have the pumps inside the skimmer for a smaller foot print)

Also can't go wrong with Reef Dynamics. The technology is a bit older but they still rock
