Greetings all!
I currently have the Marine Color Sunsun Aquarium Surface Protein Skimmer JY03 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CG3NHWF9) - and while it IS very good (I upgraded the filter), I basically have to clean the filter every night (it's only about 1.5"x1.75"). I know there have been some good reviews on the Eheim 305, but I don't really like it that much. I'm kind of considering the AquaTop SSK-65 (https://www.amazon.com/Aquatop-Skmr-Surface-Intrnl-65Gph) or maybe the TAAM Rio 200 (https://www.amazon.com/TAAM-Surface-Skimmer-Reactor-Suction/dp/B00P03YJT0), though I wouldn't be using C02 with the latter (and not certain if you could substitute just an airline or not).

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Well, sad that this received ZERO responses - not sure why.

Anyway, here is an update - the Rio was UTTERLY ineffective, not to mention it falls apart EASILY (my fish kept knocking the top piece off). I tried engaging in a discussion with the mfr on it, suggesting they provide a Rio 800 pump, instead of the 200 (the 200 doesn't even provide for an effective Venturi), because the provided filter is completely inadequate - and upgrading the filter makes the 200 pump unable to output very much water at all!

Then they ceased communication. So it's going back, and they're getting a NEGATIVE review. The changes I identified COULD make it the best one on the market, but if they can't be bothered, they I won't support them. For the money, I'm sticking with the JY03 unit. Yeah, it's an annoyance having to clean the filter SO often, but it's better than the alternatives out there.
