Best Lid for 90g w/ regard to piranha

hey guys, my 90 gallon aquarium lid has cracked in a few locations, it hasn't fallen apart but I'm looking to buy a new one. I currently have http://www.aqueonproducts.com/products/aga-glass-tops-hinged-glass-tops.htm# for the 90.

I noticed all glass seems to break fairly easily, I'm very careful with everything. I also notice alot of heat being lost which makes my heater run constantly. Is there anything that is good for a piranha tank? I've got a t5ho fixture atm dual bulbs. Dont want anything that interferes with the light absorption to my plants. thanks

well you can make a thick acrylic ones yourself or just get an other glass top.
with acrylic ones if it's not thick enough or doesn't have any support in the middle it will bow overtime.

def. go with all glass. they dont break easy at all.
