im putting my 9 inch green terror in a 65 gal in my room solo. his colors are beautiful hes outstanding in my book. what lighting could I set up to really make his greens pop more.the light that came with my petland 125 gal setup has I guess the basic bulb. maybe its a fluorescent idk but I know a better lighting setup would accentuate his colors. what would you suggest? also would a black substrate be beneficial because right now hes over a very light gravel. just want him to look his best, hes my prized display fish

Put 50/50 bulbs in there. and yes a darker substrate would help his Colors pop imo.

he'll look superb in any light if he's as good as you say, got any pics? :D

also to +1 on what C cprings said, black substrate or darker is the way to go. I personally think darker lighting as well, tremendously helps show off shimmering effects in Green Terror's.

Current (sp.) Adjustable led light one of the beat investments I made in the hobby. Make any color, shade, brightness you want at the touch of a button. However do not store the remote on top of your tank. Mine took a swim and hasn't worked since, they sell new ones separate haven't gotten around to ordering yet

I blue bulb and 1 white bulb will do the trick, the blue will not be obvious it will just make for crystal clear water look an the blue greens will pop, run the bulbs as close to the front as possible so the light is always bouncing of the visible side of the fish.
