I know this gets asked all the time, but the search function discards things like "55"

Given my stocklist below (the 38 will be a 55 soon) what would either:

A: Be good in a 55 by itself? The other fish going in the 75. I know it would be a bit heavily stocked, but I'll take care of it ;)

B: Go well in the 75 with the green severum and the bichirs? Some of the ctenopomes would get moved to the 55.

So far I have been looking at chocolate cichlids, maybe grammodes (alone in the 55) , possibly cuban(s) or maybe salvini. Oh, and I don't like rams or apistos, since I know someone will mention them. I know the stock is heavy, but I'll figure it out, I promise ;) Any other ideas, input?

single RD in 55 alone. pair of grammodes in 55 or just a single male.

Get a lone male istlanum for the 55, better personality and they are on Aquabid now. If not, a male grammodes is a great-looking fish.

Would a RD be okay in the 55? For how long?

Could also do a Jack Dempsey pair, gorgeous fish, and easy to breed. First cichlid I bred.

grammodes!!! No other option.

I had another thread about those. If they're pretty shy, and pretty slow-growing, I don't know how much I would like them.

What about that RD question? ;)

Just looked up the robertsoni. Neat fish!
