dimensions are 72x20x25... weird sized tank. Wanna do a tank of datnoids but would like to maybe add a lungfish... Was planning on doing some rays but I want to be able to keep everything in the tank basically for life... So what would be the coolest lungfish that would fit into my tank? Could I keep lungfish with any other cool bottom dwellers like polys? any advice or point in the right direction would be nice :p

There's only two lungfish that can be kept with tankmates: Aussie lungfish, and South American lungfish. Aussies are expensive and rare, so I'd go with SAL

Small addition, ...AULs can reach nearly 5ft and 100lbs so, not a species to keep for life in a 155gal.

Yeah I'd prefer not to put a 5 foot 100lb fish in my 155g :p one of my LFS had a tank full of lungfish but had no specification on it just said lungfish sp. Guess i'll head back there soon and take some pics

Any type of lungfish in that tank will not work for life. And I would reconsider the ray also unless you have plans to move it in a few months. I keep a single lung in a 6ft 150 no way anything else could co exist with him they get angry and massive. Rays need lots of room even retics and hystrix would get cramped. All the fish you like are awesome to keep but if your not realistic about what you can keep in the size tank you have it will just get discouraging when things don't work out.

He never said he is having rays. he said rays or lungfish. Since the only option is SAL it will fit. You probably have a african lungfish. SAL is a south american lungfish.
