Hi I just wanted to see what you guys are using or what has worked best for you in the past?

I'm currently looking for alternatives as the few small scrapers I have are not that great at removing anything but soft algae. And they are probably too small as well. ( 6ft tank)

I have tried, and used a few kinds, and find the one above pretty good, but....
there are tiny fissures in all glass where algae takes hold, so it doesn't get out the stubborn stuff in those microscopic cracks, only the loose surface stuff, so after using the one above, always have to go over stubborn areas with my old stand by, a razor blade jammed into a crack in the proper length PVC pipe. BTW, the old rag on the outside glass kills 2 birds.....getting the smudges off the outer panel at the same time.

That’s a neat little Doohickey you got there. Thanks for sharing.

Oh I may steal that idea, very clever!

Do you find the rag helping much more than without?

Thanks!
