First off, not sure if this post is in the right category, please let me know if it isn't. Anyways, I have been looking to upgrade to a Magnetic algae scrubber since im lazy and My tank is 2 feet deep and tired of getting my arm soaked scrubbing:). Let me know if there a good one you guys recommend. Thank you in advance!

Algaefree is expensive! Maybe ill try the Mag Float. I just use pool filter sand for substrate, do I need to worry about any of it getting caught in the scrubber and scrubbing scratches into my glass?

Make sure you get a scrubber that is made for your tank material. Do not use an normal scrubber on acrylic, or you will scratch it.

I put 2 big scratches in the middle of my opti-white (starfire) glass with a spec of pfs on the magnet. ALWAYS ALWAYS check before you scrub!

Yes. I've scratched my acrylics a few times. Now I always give it a rinse before I use it.
