I have noticed recently that some of my usually clear tanks have been a little cloudy so I cut back a little on feeding. But testing for nitrates they were well within tolerable levels in all tanks(<10); ammonia and nitrite = 0. so I decided to test my phosphate levels......off the scale checked my tapwater same levels so short of buying an RO unit I will have to add a chemical media to my filters to get rid of the PO4 problem......so which is quickest/most efficient....there are a few to choose from(Phosban, Rowaphos etc).....

Any thoughts, experiences.....?

Phosphate removal products which are Granular ferric oxide (GFO)-based are probably the best route to go and both Phosban and Rowaphos are comprised of GFO.

I'd recommend using carbon first to solve your problem, though, since your primary problem is water clarity (and a tank can have high phosphate and be crystal clear).

yeh k bee is right use carbon first but i would consider a phosban reactor as phosphates means algae
