In your opinion what are the best 250 watt metal halide bulbs? I think I am going to go with 14k bulbs, but let me know what you think about that. I would like them to be reasonably priced, nothing crazy. I am getting a 3 x 250 watt double ended bulb fixture for my 210 gallon. Let me know what your experiences are...

I have already been looking and the best I have found price wise from what I know about Halides....not a lot....is the Phoenix 14k 250 watt de for 53.99 a bulb shipped. Seems like a good deal, is it??

Best is subjective. I like Radium especially for sps but if you want both brightness and balance of white and blue, Phoenix are great bulbs.
I also really like Radium. I've been running 14k 400w Radiums for a long time and they work great. I have never used their H.Q.I.'s however. Just mogul base.
