Best method to catch fry

Hello everyone,

I have abot 50-70 fry I would like to remove from my 450g community tank. They're about 1cm long now. Not too easy to get them with the net anymore. I should've moved them when I had the chance... Does anyone have an easy method to start catching them? Perhaps a trap or something like that?

when i was a kid we used to make minnow traps out of soda bottles. you just cut the top off, take the cap off, invert it and put it back into the bottle and secure it with something. staples work well.

You could try to siphon them into another container with large diameter tubing, but if they are real strong swimmers it may be best to try and trap them like Lunker65 suggests.

Very strong swimmers. Paraneetroplus Bifascatus fry. Smart enough to avoid a net even though they had never seen one. Dumb enough they eat out of my fingers lol.
