Where the Simpsons takes place
That was pretty amusing, I've never seen anyone training their monitors to hunt down prey like that lol. I think that's a great way to disassociate yourself as a threat or danger to the monitor and allow it to interact with you without any fear (which, as most monitor owners know, is too often the case).

omg hes adorable...do want.

cool bosc. Be careful with feeding him wild caught insects. they may have ingest fertilizers or been exposed to pesticides that could kill him. Many pet stores sell canned grass hoppers and live crickets. You could also get horn worms, silk worms, pheonix worms, and dubia roaches as supplements at most reptile shops.

Here is a vid of one that I used to have. Same feeding response:

Dont worry where I live, it is basically a desert. No pesticides at all. and my monitor is wild caught too.

Bwhahaha, I loved him pushing around the tupperware trying to get the spider. So cute!
