Hi everyone, I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on various freeze dried and grocery store foods. I'll get started, rank some of these: FD crickets, FD mealworms, FD waxworms, FD silkworms, FD earthworms, FD krill, FD river shrimp, FD brine shrimp, FD bloodworms, FD tubifex, FD Plankton, market shrimp ( the little kind that go in shrimp fried rice), surimi (imitation crab), whiting and tilapia. If I forgot anything please feel free to add more. Thanks guys.

Various carnivores (bichirs, cichlids, aros, etc). Actually I'm looking for something different, my fish only eat fd mealworms. They use to eat fd bloodworms, now they only spit them out (at least the cichlids do). I've tried Tetra sticks, NLS pellets (they just watch'em sink) and various other foods. My bichir eats the surimi, I don't feed it too often, maybe once a month. My belly crawler would eat the Tetra sticks and the NLS algae wafers.

I feed my carnivorous fish (Jardini, barramundi, cichla and sometimes dovii) prawns, I insert 4-5 Hikari cichlid pellets into the pieces though so they get their nutrition etc, this is the only way I have been able to get my cichla to eat. My barra gets the heads off the prawns which are packed full of goodies, he's as healthy as ever. He also gets Hikari pellets.

I feed my African Butterfly Fish FD Mealworms, FD Gammarus shrimp, and FD Bloodworms.:)
