i was wondering 2 things.
1) what is the best website to buy fiish
2)what is the best online store to buy supplies
thank you for your help
 
1. I'd like to know also, I've had bad luck with this.

2. Both Drs. Foster & Smith and Big Al's have provided me with exceptional service when I received faulty equipment. I consider a reaction to a bad experience a more true indicator of quality than just a smooth transaction, and by that measuring stick they are both fantastic.
 
Of course I will say I am the best. www.fishinabowl.com. I have a wide variety of fish and my shipping and packing is top notch. The huge places are like trans shippers and do not hold fish long. I hold my fish, pass through quarantine and make sure they meet out strict quality reqs.

There are some other real good online places too. ( I will not take anything away from them, but have a hard time promoting them)

1. I think it kind of depends on what you're looking for. I've bought from John (snookn21 here on MFK) and was 100% satisfied, but if you're not interested in what he stocks that won't help you.

2. I find Foster&Smith to be a bit high, I generally go with Big Al's or ebay for supplies, haven't had a problem yet.

I usually stick with Foster and Smith for food and supplies and deal with some vendors that are members here for livestock. Nice site Pictus.I have never heard of your outfit but I might be interested in some things you have.
 
Thank you Krichardson. Just trying to get my name out there. I am currently expanding and bringing in a wider variety of fish. What I really like is when I can get fish people are having a hard time getting. I know there is still allot of blank info but in time it will be filled out.

I have bought from thatpetplace.com great fish good price. I was happy with them. I have bought plants from them too. They are based out of PA.

BigAls is my fav for fishy stuff. Good price and nice people.
 
Kens fish http://kensfish.com/ is one of my favorites great service great prices. Also like Foster/Smith but they are a little high at times.
 
Ooooh forgot all about Ken's all my fishfood comes from him now. His soft & moist formula is like fish crack in my tanks.
