Can anyone recommend a good inline heater? Preferably with replaceable elements, and has to be 110v.

I need to heat a big tank and pond. It is indoors and is fed with as warm water drip, so I'm thinking 1000-1500 watts should do it.

Thanks in advance for any help. :)

its in the garage or in the house? tropical fishes can do well in temperature at low as 70F degree so there no need for the heater if the pond is inside the house!

I don't know of any inlines that big, most of the inlines for conventioinal aquariums are way to small or require a really slow flow rate to heat adequately. I would recommend a 1000w titanium, i used it to heat my 1100 gallon indoor pond and it worked like a champ.

The best I've seen have been homemade Ive tried my hand at a few but used the help of a friend to actually get a good one. I'll see if I can find a pic of it I gave it to another fishkeeper when I tore my ponds down. It's just basically a heating element from a water heater mounted in a piece of PVC with a temp controller it worked great but almost too good sometimes the water coming out would be pretty Damm warm. My friend is also a boiler technician so he had a controller that he fixed from work and a big nice thermo couple it was a beefy heater 1500watts and it heated a 750 and an 1100 pretty good even in the cold basement during the winter that is untill the power goes out.
